This is no longer Sara's Corner as the building has
been sold and is now an insurance office. The
following is old info but interesting.
Thanks for looking!
Sara's Country Corner on Route 66
Sara's Country Corner is located at the corner of old Hiway 75 and Route
66; the corner of Dewey and Main in Sapulpa, Okla. The building is the oldest building left in Sapulpa. It was built in 1902.
Vern and Sara Street bought the building in 1995 to open a craft store and decided that
even though the store had been gutted some years back, it should be restored as it was in
the old days. With some difficulty and many dollars later, another drugstore contents were
purchased, moved to Sapulpa, and installed in the old City Drug building which had been a
drug store for 82 years. The fixtures and the old Soda Fountain were refinished like new
and you can now get an old fashioned ice cream Soda while browsing
through the antiques.

We are located on the original historic route 66, so while touring route 66 please stop in
and have a Soda or a complete meal and enjoy the setting of the 30's.
Antiques:
Sara has a lot of fine antiques in stock at her store. Drop in and take a scroll
around. We still have a lot of the original bottles and drug store items that were
inherited with the store. The Little Cafe on the Corner leased by third party, now
serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also buy and sell on eBay
auction. Look for our items under user name saranvern
